What Do I Think Of Graphic Design As A Profession?

Honestly, I think the profession of Graphic Design is very interesting. You have the ability to convey emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and morals through artwork and that's amazing! It's kind of being a mentalist of sorts, thinking about how certain colors will effect the thought trying to be conveyed and how the image you create affects the image a person will now have about the group/company/organization. A graphic artist tends to have a lot of power when you think about it, logos for companies such as McDonald's or Nike or even Amazon are now extremely iconic and recognizable from miles away. The graphic design artists behind those logos had a goal in mind and were able to complete it. they were able to convey the thought or emotions they were going for and created universally recognizable logos. That's the kind of power or skill a graphic design artist has in these topics.

The different areas you can work within the field of Graphic design are one, Animator and second, art directors.

The salary range for a Graphic Designer ranges from $25,000-$62,000

Another fact or detail about the field of Graphic design that I found interesting (Animation) after researching the sites I was given is that it's very hard to get a job for that profession, the big companies want nothing less than a BA and a good amount of experience. It's a fair requirement when you think about it though. The things they output are immediately expected to be of higher quality than that of the smaller companies.
